To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter to recommend Rafael Hernández for the position of teacher at Hope’s Peak
Academy. Rafael has been my superior in Galaxy High since 2014, and I know he’s highly qualified
for the position of teacher. He’s from El Salvador; like everyone from there, Rafael works hard
everyday. His commitment for teaching and knowledge is incredible. Everybody follows him around
because of his impressive leadership skill. I am very grateful to him and his guidance when I started
working as an English teacher. Even though his strength is History, his language skills are amazing.
I am sure he’d be a tremendous asset to Hope’s Peak Academy and I recommend him without
reservation.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

candidate for teacher in Hope’s Peak Academy.
He has worked as a teacher in Galaxy High since 2014 to 2018. He was very responsible in his duty.
He always came to school earlier than most teachers, the entire school knew him and liked him because
of his leadership and communication skills. His classes are very dynamic, Rafael is one of the most
creative person to ever become a teacher. He became a vice-principal in our school since 2018, and

Mr. Kirigiri
Hope’s Peak Academy
Main Street
Tokyo, Japan
Dear Mr. Kirigiri.
I wrote you this letter because I am interested in applying for a High School teacher position in Hope’s Peak
Academy. I graduated from Oxford University, and I have a Master’s degree in teaching History and
Architecture from La Universidad de Madrid. I’ve been a History teacher in Galaxy High School, a high profile
school in The United States. I believe my teaching have made an impact in all of my students. My experience
makes me an ideal candidate for a teaching position at this School.
I am currently a vice-principal at Galaxy High School after 4 years of being a history teacher, but I am aiming for
higher grounds, and I believe that teaching in Hope’s Peak Academy would be a dream come true for me. Aside
for my History courses, I am proficient in a total of 6 languages: Spanish, German, Chinese, Korean, Japanese
and English. I know that Hope’s Peak Academy is an international treasure where every talented student from all
around the world can go and polish their talents even further.
Your school also strives to make students engage and help society for a better future. I have lots of experience in
motivating students and incorporating them into community service, that’s basically my job as a vice-principal, but
I can use that experience I gained as a teacher.
I come from a country that is sometimes overlooked, so my objective is to demonstrate the talent that can comes
from my country and represent it in a place like this. Sharing experiences and knowledge with other students is
the most enjoyable thing of being a teacher. I know that my communication and intuition skills will be very useful
for this school environment. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Rafael Hernández
